While senior Joe Bolden took the reins this summer organizing workouts and holding players accountable, redshirt freshman safety Jabrill Peppers appears to be doing the on-field pushing.
“There’s not too many guys who every single practice are going to bring energy,” U-M linebacker James Ross III said. “There’s never a practice where he’s going to go unheard. You’re going to hear his voice, he’s going to get the team going. Those are the type of guys you need to be successful. You need those guys. When you’re team is lagging to pick us up.
