EVANSTON — There were days when Isaiah Livers didn't know if he'd be able to play basketball again this season.
As Michigan's junior forward dealt with a groin injury that cost him six games — and then another injury that forced him to sit another three games — there were quiet moments when Livers would find his way to a basketball court all by himself.
Livers would cut. He'd jump. He'd try all the range of motion required of a high-level college basketball player, in the hopes of finding out that he was indeed ready to make his return.
