Coming off a season ranked as the nation’s No. 4 defense, Michigan’s biggest challenge this spring is sustaining that level of play.
With a new defensive coordinator in Don Brown, whose Boston College defense was ranked No. 1 last season, there was bound to be an adjustment.
Now that spring practice is over, it appears the players adapted quickly.
“Definitely,” U-M’s All-America cornerback Jourdan Lewis said after the spring game last week. “You can see in our confidence level. We feel more comfortable with what we’re doing, being an aggressive defense. You can just see it.
