COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Entering Sunday, sophomore Kameron Chatman had played in seven of Michigan’s 14 Big Ten games.

He totaled 21 minutes and nine points.

Yet coach John Beilein had told all of the Wolverines to be ready for Sunday’s game at Maryland.

Chatman was inserted twice in the first half and made little impact.

But as the game began to slip away, with Michigan falling behind by 16 points, Chatman figured, “why not,” and let one fly.
