U-M will allow students to watch Saturday practice

First-year Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh has done everything possible to keep his program on lockdown for the past 10 days.

He talked on Aug. 6 about how his team was going in a submarine and a bunker and would resurface at some point in the future.

Turns out, there is a public viewing coming Saturday night -- but only for U-M students.

Former Michigan Daily writer Alejandro Zuniga tweeted the details late Monday night and a Michigan spokesman confirmed the event today.

The event is scheduled for 7-10 p.m. at Michigan Stadium.

The general public may get a glimpse on Wednesday when the Big Ten Network passes through on its camp tour.
