ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan ice hockey team plays its annual exhibition contest against the U.S. National Team Development Program U-18 team on Friday night (Oct. 18, 7:30 p.m.) at Yost Ice Arena.
• Michigan hosts the U.S. NTDP U-18 Team for the 17th time in as many seasons, holding a 14-2-0 record all-time in the series. Michigan has won the last two, while the U-18 Team pulled out a 5-4 OT victory in 2013.
• Last season, the Wolverines used four third-period goals to pull away from the U-18 team with a 5-2 victory.
