PRINCETON, N.J. -- Since early May, Wednesday has loomed as a New Jersey battleground.
Michigan’s planned satellite camp at Paramus (N.J.) Catholic was going to be the state’s signature event with all the top prospects in one place Wednesday night.
Then, on May 9, Rutgers announced it would hold a satellite camp, at the same time in the same evening, about six miles away at Fairleigh Dickinson University, bringing in Ohio State coach Urban Meyer to oppose his rival.
With both camps growing — more than 600 campers expected — the opportunity has challenged local players to make a decision on where they want to go.
