ANN ARBOR -- Police at the University of Michigan have closed an investigation into threats made last month against football coach Jim Harbaugh.
Melissa Overton, deputy chief of the University of Michigan Police Department, confirmed the news to MLive on Tuesday, signaling the end to a near month-long investigation into perceived threats against Harbaugh on social media.
"No charges were filed and no arrests were made," Overton wrote Tuesday morning.
Police never formally named a suspect in the investigation, launched April 16 after a series of vindictive messages were posted on Twitter from the account of former Michigan football player Elysee Mbem-Bosse.
