Michigan junior offensive lineman Dan Samuelson announced he is transferring.
Samuelson was a three-star recruit coming out of Plymouth, Ind., in 2013.
He is the ninth player to transfer since coach Jim Harbaugh took over, but the first known to leave since fall camp began.
Samuelson made the announcement on Facebook saying it was an "incredibly tough" decision.
"With great sadness, I have decided that my time at the University of Michigan is done," Samuelson wrote. "The past couple years have been wonderful, and something that I will never forget. I am beyond blessed for them.
