U-M lands 2016 four-star PG Xavier Simpson

The recruiting roller coaster rolls on.

Just hours after 2016 U-D Jesuit point guard Cassius Winston dropped Michigan from his final group of schools, the Wolverines landed their 2016 point guard in Lima (Ohio)'s Xavier Simpson.

Many in attendance at the announcement reported the decision, including his father and coach, Quincy Simpson.

The 5-foot-11 guard was considering Wisconsin, Illinois and Iowa State among others and had just visited Wisconsin this past weekend. He has mentioned U-M in the past but not recently at least until reports flooded out earlier this afternoon about his change of heart.
