Michigan is facing its first off-field adversity of the season: Offensive tackle Logan Tuley-Tillman has been kicked off the team.
Coach Jim Harbaugh did not provide details beyond a released statement that read: "Logan Tuley-Tillman has been dismissed from the football team for conduct unacceptable for a Michigan student athlete."
Tuley-Tillman was a redshirt sophomore from Peoria, Ill., who worked his way into the second group of offensive linemen, at tackle. He has remade his body and gotten into better shape over the past few years.
He played in the season opener at Utah, taking left tackle reps from starter Mason Cole on two plays on the first drive, but Cole returned just before the drive-ending interception.
