It's official now: Dennis Norfleet is not part of the Michigan football team.
The program released its roster for the fall today on mgoblue.com, and Norfleet is missing.
U-M coach Jim Harbaugh would not make that assertion during a meeting with local reporters last week.
"A plan was put in place; I've had conversations with him over the summer," Harbaugh said, referring to Norfleet's academic problems, which were widely publicized in the spring, when his former coach at Detroit King coach said they were a point of contention with Harbaugh. "It's our desire that he remains at Michigan and gets his Michigan degree.
