U-M claims second straight Big Ten Tourney Championship

The Maize and Blue took their first lead just under four minutes into the game and never surrendered it again the rest of the way, battling from in front in the first half and pulling ahead by as many as 18 points after the break.

Playing against some of the best big men in the conference, the Wolverines' own centers stepped up. Jon Teske fell just a point shy of his career high, scoring 14 points off the bench, with Moritz Wagner adding 17 points.

Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman added 15 points and Zavier Simpson scored 10.

Wagner was named the Big Ten Tournament Most Valuable Player, averaging 15.
