U-M Announces Reduced Big House Seating Capacity, Still Largest Venue In College Football

The athletic department announced Friday that Michigan Stadium will be a little bit smaller, but more accessible to fans.

The University of Michigan athletic department announced Friday that alterations have been made to Michigan Stadium that decreases its total capacity, but improves fan accessibility.

The Big House will remain the largest venue in college football with adjusted capacity of 107,601.

This lower capacity, coupled with the national interest in first-year J. Ira and Nikki Harris Head Football Coach Jim Harbaugh, has led to Michigan's tickets once again being the hottest commodity on the secondary markets, as recently covered in the media.
