Michigan college hockey teams continued to struggle last weekend, with only one of the six teams in action picking up a win.
That win was enough to move that team up to No. 2 in MLive’s in-state power rankings, but it wasn’t enough to move past No. 1, who was idle this weekend.
Every week, MLive will rank all seven Michigan teams, provide their latest results and look ahead to their next opponents.
Below are the 10th rankings of the season.
Record: 5-15-4 (3-10-3 WCHA)
Last week’s ranking: 7th
Last weekend’s results: Swept by Bemidji State, losing 3-0 on Friday and 6-3 on Saturday
Highlights: The Lakers were shut out for the fifth time this season on Friday, firing just 21 shots on goal.
