MADRID -- For much of the first half of Monday's game, Michigan looked like a team that had flown across the Atlantic and taken in the sights in a new country for the past three days.
That is, of course, exactly what the Wolverines had done.
"We anticipated there would be a little bit of rust to knock off," interim head coach Saddi Washington said.
Michigan eased into the first of three exhibition games it will play in Spain this week. A sharper focus and greater energy in the second half led to an 82-72 win over the Madrid Generales, a collection of local professional players.
