The ninth-ranked Michigan Wolverines survived what would have been a massive upset on Saturday night. The Fresno State Bulldogs showed up in Ann Arbor ready for a fight, and it seemed like Michigan was looking ahead to Texas a bit with how they were operating.
Thanks to an interception from Zeke Berry, the Wolverines had great field position and managed to take an early 7-0 lead. Alex Orji completed a pass to Donovan Edwards for the first touchdown of the game. Within the first few minutes it seemed like Michigan would run away with this one early, but Fresno State made stop after stop.
