One big takeaway is that Fox will probably be broadcasting the Ohio State-Michigan game from now on, which probably means that Gus Johnson and Joel Klatt will be getting the call. Gus, who was born in Detroit, has always been a Michigan fan.
Also, it's been a while since I've thrown out a really unpopular opinion, but here goes: Jim Delany deserves a lot of credit here, for giving the Big Ten's athletic departments the resources to thrive and burnish our legacies. The Maryland and Rutgers moves have not been popular, and his silence regarding satellite camps was unsavory and preposterous, but it's also time we start demanding more from the coaches and the ADs to start using Delany's advantages for our collective benefit.
