Trieu: Where Michigan stands with remaining recruiting targets

The dead period is set to end and Michigan will begin working on finishing its 2018 recruiting class. The Wolverines signed 16 recruits during the Early Signing Period in December. In addition, Michigan has three verbal commitments – linebacker Otis Reese, quarterback Kevin Doyle and wide receiver Ronnie Bell – who did not sign yet.

These are some of Michigan’s top remaining targets as recruiting starts up again:

Nicholas Petit-Frere: The nation’s No. 3 offensive tackle according to the 247Sports Composite, Petit-Frere has already taken an official visit to Michigan. He has three officials remaining before making his decision, so do not expect an announcement to come until close to, or on, the Feb.
