Michigan recently offered one of the top prospects in the nation, Las Vegas Arbor View junior Greg Rogers, the nation’s No. 3 defensive tackle and No. 35 player overall on Scout. While many schools around the country have offered, including two schools out west that Rogers is high on, UCLA and USC, the Wolverines are looking to pull him to the Midwest.
Their success in signing tight end Devin Asiasi, a California native who many thought would stay out West in last year’s class, should give Wolverine faithful confidence that they can pull it off again.
“I am really, really big on them,” the 6-foot-4, 298-pound Rogers said of Michigan, “and it is a school I have been waiting on to get an offer from.
