Transition from Jim Harbaugh to Sherrone Moore will be seamless because of Michigan’s strong culture

Entering the 2024 season, the Michigan Wolverines’ football team is starkly different from the team that held up the National Championship trophy six months ago. With many players going to the NFL, others opting to enter the transfer portal and several position coaches leaving, there’s a lot of disparity.

But at the core is the biggest difference: a new head coach.

On the surface, Jim Harbaugh departing and Sherrone Moore taking over evokes a lot of change, but that’s not necessarily true. In fact, besides the new name on the wall, it’s business as usual.

“There’s nothing different,” running back Donovan Edwards said at Big Ten Media Days.
