One of Michigan basketball's top targets is off the board.
Blairstown (New Jersey) Blair Academy wing Jabri Abdur-Rahim announced his decision to commit to Virginia on Wednesday.
The 6-feet-5, 185-pound prospect had been a priority for Michigan under both former coach John Beilein and first-year coach Juwan Howard.
According to the 247Sports Composite rankings, Abdur-Rahim is a 4-star prospect. He's the No. 44 overall recruit, the No. 11 small forward and the No. 1 prospect in New Jersey.
Abdur-Rahim is the son of former NBA star Shareef Abdur-Rahim, who played collegiately at California.
