It was an ugly game for Michigan on Saturday afternoon, but some positive news came out of the defeat with Houston (Texas) Westside defensive tackle Jordan Elliott deciding in favor of the Maize and Blue. The 6-5, 300 pound Elliott was in Ann Arbor for his official visit, and selected the Wolverines over offers from Texas, Baylor, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Alabama and others.
“For the past several months I have cultivated a strong relationship with the [Texas] staff as well as the Michigan staff,” Elliott said on Twitter. “After extensive research and after sitting down with my family to look at all possible scenarios, I have made my final decision to further my education and football career at the University of Michigan!
