Coming off a decent performance in the season-opener last week, the Michigan Wolverines running backs will try to produce at a higher level against the Texas Longhorns on Saturday. Michigan running back Donovan Edwards was never able to find much of a rhythm, but Kalel Mullings did late in the game and provided a much-needed spark.
Mullings continued to show off an impressive blend of power and speed, racking up a game-high 92 rushing yards on 15 carries to go with 74 yards on three kick returns. His performance was a huge bright spot for the Wolverines’ offense that was relatively underwhelming otherwise, so Mullings should continue to be a reliable option to lean on.
