The streak was in serious jeopardy just once.
Mason Cole was terribly sick last season before Michigan played against Michigan State. He had a fever and hardly practiced during the week before the game. But he found a way to start that day.
Just as Cole has started every game since he arrived at Michigan.
Cole has started 41 straight games along the offensive line for the Wolverines, and an illness before playing MSU wasn’t going to stop him. “I was pretty sick,” he said. “But got through it.”
The streak tells you all you need to know about this senior captain.
