For the second time this calendar year, the Michigan Wolverines and Washington Huskies will do battle. In a rematch of the national championship game, Michigan heads to Seattle for its first road test of the season with quite a bit on the line for Team 145.
Both teams lost significant portions of their coaching staff and offenses between matchups. However, Washington’s offense has bounced back more quickly than the Wolverines despite losing the quarterback and his three leading receivers that took the Pac-12 champs to the College Football Playoff a season ago.
The logic for Michigan on Saturday will be very similar to the game played almost 10 months ago: put pressure on the quarterback and play sticky coverage on receivers while keeping the defense fresh.
