BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Three incoming University of Michigan ice hockey freshmen were selected in the NHL Draft today (Saturday, June 25) at First Niagara Center, home of the Buffalo Sabres. Forwards Will Lockwood (Vancouver, 3rd Rd., 64th overall) and Nick Pastujov (NY Islanders, 7th Rd., 193rd Overall) and goaltender Jack LaFontaine (Carolina, 3rd Rd., 75th overall) were taken. Michigan enters the 2016-17 season with nine drafted players on its roster.
