Anthony Thomas
ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Former University of Michigan running back Anthony Thomas (1997-2000) was announced as an inductee to the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame on Wednesday (Sept. 30). Thomas is one of eight members to be enshrined in the Hall.
A native of Winnfield, Louisiana, Thomas set numerous rushing records during his four-year tenure in Ann Arbor. A four-year letterman and three-year starter, Thomas left Michigan holding 15 school records including rushing yards (now third) with 4,472, attempts (now second) at 924 and 100-yard rushing games (now second) with 22.
