To an extent, Jabrill Peppers gets it.
He played at Michigan, hated rival of the Ohio State Buckeyes. And he's admittedly underwhelmed as a first-round draft pick of their beloved Browns.
But there's an uncomfortable angst that continues to build between Peppers and the city of Cleveland. He says he's been confronted by frustrated fans on the streets.
"You know, as of late, when you walk up on another man, that's a hostile situation,'' Peppers said. "For me, I have way more to lose than the average guy. So it puts me in kind of a funky situation where I can't even go get daily toiletries or things without having to worry about something like that.
