The steady star: replacing Abdur-Rahkman won't be easy for Michigan

ANN ARBOR -- If you were about to play pick-up basketball at the park or YMCA and saw a guy wearing glasses, a t-shirt under his jersey, a protective sleeve on one arm, knee pads, and pink shoes, you'd be excused for assuming he'd be the worst player on the court.

At times this season, Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman was, in fact, the best.

Those moments often came when Michigan needed him most. The senior guard scored at least 20 points in four of Michigan's final 11 games. That was more 20-point games than he'd tallied in his entire college career up to that point.
