I’m excited to share that in the Fall 2022 semester I’ll be leading the undergrad class EDUC 212: The History of College Athletics. My friend New York Times bestselling author & historian John U. Bacon created the class over a decade ago, and readers of this site know I’ve been a frequent guest speaker. The course was originally taught by Bacs himself, followed by a series of distinguished lecturers including former SID Bruce Madej, professor Scott Westfall, and journalist Michael Spath.
