Ann Arbor — Michigan’s starters have been able to avoid the injury bug all year.
It finally bit on Thursday night.
With redshirt junior wing Charles Matthews missing his first game in two seasons with a right ankle injury, No. 9 Michigan had to roll out a different starting lineup for the first time all season.
Behind a career night from junior center Jon Teske and an all-around dominant performance, Michigan pummeled Nebraska to close the home portion of the schedule with an 82-53 win at Crisler Center.
Teske tallied a career-high 22 points to go along with 10 rebounds and freshman forward Ignas Brazdeikis added 20 points for Michigan (25-4, 14-4 Big Ten), which shot 55.
