Nate Johnson, a 5-11, 170-pound receiver from Independence High in Thompson's Station, Tennessee, on Saturday committed to Michigan's 2016 recruiting class.
"After talking it over with my family I've decided to make the decision to commit to the University of Michigan," Johnson wrote on Twitter.
Johnson had 1,710 receiving yards and 26 touchdowns this season for Independence, which went 15-0 and won Tennessee's Class 5A state championship.
Johnson is the third receiver in Michigan's 2016 class, joining Ahmir Mitchell of Egg Harbor, New Jersey and Brad Hawkins of Camden, New Jersey.
Johnson had also been offered by Miami (Fla.
