In their last game before heading to Florida for the Fort Myers tip-off, Michigan picked up a win against Tarleton State, 72-49, to improve to 4-1 on the season.
Ken Pom obviously isn’t everything, but according to Ken Pomeroy’s advanced statistics, Tarleton State, on paper, is the worst team Michigan will face this season. Out of 364 teams, they are ranked 300th. They were picked to finish sixth out of nine teams in the WAC preseason poll, a conference that usually only gets one NCAA tournament bid.
