The Michigan men’s basketball team has hit rock bottom, losing to a bad Penn State team at The Palestra, 79-73. They fall to 6-9 on the season, 1-3 in Big Ten play, and as of Jan. 7, they’re the only team in the conference with a losing overall record.
This was a battle between the two Big Ten teams that had the worst overall record heading into this game. It’s safe to say they both needed a win, with Michigan just losing to Minnesota and Penn State getting blown out, with the Michigan State Spartans beating them by 31 earlier this week.
