ANN ARBOR -- John Beilein may be a bit more vocal during practice than he led on.
Michigan's head coach said in a press conference Tuesday that he was deferring to his assistants more as he continues to recover from heart surgery. And his assistants were very involved in Tuesday's practice, the first hour of which was open to the media.
But Beilein made his voice heard in huddles before drills. He visited the various position groups around the Crisler Center court, observing and correcting, similar to what he'd done in the last open practice, before Michigan embarked on its NCAA Tournament run in March.
