Florida pitcher Lauren Haeger solidified her Women's College World Series MVP award in the 2015 finale. She allowed one run on five Michigan hits and knocked in a run of her own as Florida won the national title game, 4-1.
The Gators attacked quickly, hitting Haylie Wagner for four runs on four hits in 1.1 innings. She was relieved by Megan Betsa in the second, who gave up one hit in four innings, but the damage was done.
Michigan's bats were held to 5-for-26 in the final as the Wolverines finished the season, 60-8. The 2015 campaign was the program's second finals appearance after winning a national title in 2005.
