That's the analysis of Ryan Brewer, an associate professor of finance at Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus. Brewer conducted a study on what each college football team would be worth if it could be sold on the open market, like a pro sports team.
The Wolverines came in sixth-best nationally.
Ohio State was tops at $1.5 billion, one of three programs topping $1 billion.
