When Texas enters the Big House on Saturday, it’ll be quite different from a week prior for the Michigan Wolverines. Unlike Fresno State, the Longhorns are a legitimate threat and among the favorites to win the College Football Playoff. The Longhorns are 6.5-point favorites entering Saturday’s game.
But for Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian, that’s not something his team cares about. Instead, Texas understands the highly touted team it’s about to face.
Despite coming in as the favorite for the matchup, Sarkisian is emphatic on not underestimating the Wolverines, especially given their recent accolades.
“Three straight College Football Playoffs, national champs, 41-3 in their last 44 games, have won 16 games in a row, they’ve won 20 straight at home,” Sarkisian said.
