ANN ARBOR -- We know who the strongest guys on the Michigan football team are. The smartest guys, too.
But the fastest?
That honor might go to sophomore cornerback Ambry Thomas, who debuted on offense Saturday in Michigan's 49-3 rout of Western Michigan.
"He runs a 4.3," receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones said this week, referring to Thomas' 40-yard dash time.
"He's fast."
Michigan tried to capitalize on that speed when it dialed up a jet sweep for the 6-foot, 183-pound Thomas on the first play of the second drive, picking up a five-yard gain.
