Snyder: Much blame to share for U-M's loss

Judging by ESPN's ratings, more than 7 million people watched one of the most devastating moments in Michigan football history Saturday night.

With 10 seconds remaining and the Wolverines leading, 23-21, they saw punter Blake O'Neill fumble a low snap, try to recover by drop-kicking the ball but instead swing it accidentally into Michigan State redshirt freshman Jalen Watts-Jackson's hands. After rumbling 38 yards, Watts-Jackson fell into the end zone to seal the improbable 27-23 MSU win.

The play will be debated for years, the one that lost the game for the Wolverines.

"Just a matter of catching it and punting it," coach Jim Harbaugh said.
