MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The Michigan players ended their season the way they played it all the way through, all business.
The Hard Rock Stadium locker room after U-M’s 33-32 loss to Florida State in the Orange Bowl was surprisingly unemotional, with players calmly changing out of their uniforms, packing their bags and answering questions.
Aside from Jabrill Peppers, who was emotionally wrecked because he couldn’t help his team win being sidelined with a hamstring injury, most of the Wolverines were just getting ready for the late-night red-eye flight home.
Peppers’ emotions showed a hidden side of this team, raw disappointment.
