Sights from Michigan vs Ohio State Frozen Confines tilt at Wrigley Field

It was windy and it was freezing in Chicago on Friday afternoon, but despite the low temperatures fans flooded into historic Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs, to witness Michigan take on Ohio State. The Big Ten matchups at Wrigley were called “The Frozen Confines”, which was a more than accurate title. While Michigan would lose 4-3 in the final minute of regulation, it was still a memorable collegiate hockey event.

Maize n Brew was on hand for the festivities, which included a pop-up exhibition called “Gretzky’s Basement” in a building across the street from Wrigley. There were artifacts from Gretzky’s career, including the puck from Gretzky’s first NHL goal and one of his Conn Smithe trophies.
