Saturday’s win over Arkansas State left something to be desired for the Michigan football team, particularly on the offensive side. Questions immediately swirled about the status of the quarterback position, as Davis Warren was benched in favor of Alex Orji in the third quarter.
Another big storyline coming out of the game was the status of tight end Colston Loveland. Michigan’s star tight end left the game with an apparent upper body injury, and head coach Sherrone Moore didn’t have much to say about Loveland’s status immediately following the game.
On Monday night, in his weekly appearance on the “Inside Michigan Football” radio show, Moore had a more encouraging update on Loveland’s status.
