In the aftermath of suffering the first home loss since 2020, the Michigan Wolverines have plenty to clean up in order to get back on track moving forward. Despite a 31-12 loss to the Texas Longhorns, Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore believe the Wolverines are close to competing with elite opponents like Texas.
“Not far. (Texas) executed very cleanly. All credit to them for what they did and how they played. For us, if you take the turnovers and third-down margin away, then it gives you a much better chance to be successful,” Moore told the media on Monday.
