After not being selected in the 2020 NFL Draft, former Michigan quarterback Shea Patterson found himself a home. The Kansas City Chiefs signed Patterson, and the prospects seemed positive for him to at least break camp with the team while learning a bit from Patrick Mahomes and head coach Andy Reid in the process.
Unfortunately for Patterson, he was cut on Friday afternoon by the Chiefs. While it’s never good news being cut by a team, the timing is as good as it can get because it will allow Patterson more time to get signed by another squad.
