SALT LAKE CITY – As with anything built to such extraordinary heights, the crash to earth can be emotionally crushing. It was only the first game but Michigan linebacker Joe Bolden sounded devastated Thursday night, looking like a player who walked off the field following the last game of his career.
The Wolverines were determined to immediately prove that things were dramatically different at Michigan.
