ANN ARBOR — The Michigan basketball team climbed on a bus and drove the familiar 185 miles from Crisler Center to Columbus, Ohio, on Monday night. It was a notable trip because for the first time in a long time the Wolverines went somewhere while knowing where they were going.
Up until now, most of the 2015-16 season has come without directions. The Wolverines haven't been lost, but injuries to Spike Albrecht, Derrick Walton Jr., and, most significantly, Caris LeVert made the team's path difficult to see.
But here's some light. Set to face Ohio State on Tuesday night, Michigan is preparing to play with LeVert in the lineup, surrounded by a stabilized rotation, and the Wolverines are starting to look like the Wolverines again.
