One of the many players joining Michigan via the transfer portal is Alabama forward Sam Walters, who committed earlier this week.
Walters played 12 minutes per game his freshman season at Alabama, averaging 5.4 points, 2.4 rebounds and 0.4 assists per game while shooting 42.7 percent from the field, 39.4 percent from three-point range, and 82.5 percent from the free throw line.
Highlights don’t tell the full story of a player’s game, but until we see Walters play in Ann Arbor, let’s breakdown what Michigan fans can expect from him in the coming seasons.
Scouting Report
Walters has great size at 6-foot-10, which helps him stay efficient around the rim.
