Michigan officially is looking for a new athletic director.
A day after the Free Press reported that interim AD Jim Hackett was ready to move on, the school said it hired Turnkey Search, a subsidiary of Turnkey Sports and Entertainment, for $150,000 plus expenses, and will appoint a search advisory committee
“I have decided that the time is right to launch a national search for a permanent athletic director,” U-M president Mark Schlissel said in a news release. “I will take as long as necessary to make sure it is a great fit for what I think is the best opportunity for an athletic director in the country.
